DOLE-OSHC conducts OSH orientation for 75 hospital workers in Isabela
Santiago City, Isabela – Together with the DOLE Regional Office II and Employees Compensation Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Tuguegarao Branch conducted a comprehensive, two-day orientation for employees of the Callang General Hospital and Medical Center, Inc 9CGHMI) on April 6-7, 2015.
“I want all of our employees to be aware of the safety and health measures that they, and the management must practice to ensure their protection while they work. These will improve their well-being and make them more productive”, said CGHMCI HR Manager Dr. Roland Lapuz.
“We are glad that establishments are actively initiating ways to increase the knowledge and understanding of their workers on OSH. This makes it so much easier for us to promote the culture of OSH and voluntary compliance to OSH Standards. Moreover, this encourages us to do even more for the workers” said OSHC Executive Director Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco, MD, CESO III
Other programs such as the Employees Compensation Program as well as best OSH practices were discussed by the ECC and DOLE Regional Office.
