DOLE-OSHC REU IX conducts free orientation for ZAMSURECO II

The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Regional Extension Unit (REU) IX is holding an on-site safety and health orientation today for the employees of the Zamboanga del Sur Electric Cooperative (ZAMSURECO) II.

Management and staff from four branches of ZAMSURECO II attended the orientation held in Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Ms. Ma. Joy Reneeli Espinosa, OSHC REU IX focal person, discussed the basics of accident and illness prevention as well as ways to manage the hazards and risks faced by workers in such an environment.

The OSHC regularly conducts OSH Orientations for establishments in both the private and public sectors, as well as technical services such as work environment measurement, testing of personal protective equipment, safety audits, biological monitoring, and scaffold erector assessment.
