DOLE-OSHC holds lecture series on disaster risk reduction and emergency preparedness

“All of us must be ready at all times. We should take to heart the preparations we need to have so we can properly implement our emergency ad disaster preparedness plan,” said Occupational Safety and Health Executive Director Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco, MD, CESO III.

As part of the National Disaster Consciousness Month activities, the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) is holding a series of lectures on emergency and disaster preparedness beginning with an orientation on disaster preparedness last July 5 followed by a lecture on preventing and handling chemical spill emergencies.


Today, July 18, 2016, Monday, Mr. Dairos Vallejos of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council discussed the salient points of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System sharing the Philippine Risk Profile, the Philippine and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Systems, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Managemt6 Operations Center and the other plans and programs involved.


For July 25, the OSHC will be having a lecture on first-aid.
