Binag is new OSHC Executive Director

Noel C. Binag, CE formally assumed office as the new Executive Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Center yesterday, January 23, 2017. Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III administered the oath of office to Dir. Binag along with more than 30 DOLE officials last January 16, 2017.

“We will work doubly hard to ensure that the mandate of the OSHC is translated into more actual programs. I will make sure that Regional Extension Units will be established in all regions within the first six months of my incumbency. We will strengthen the research and training as core functions of OSHC,” said Binag.

Dir. Binag also said that OSHC facilities will be enhanced to meet the demands of efficient occupational safety and health services.

Engr. Jose Maria S. Batino was re-appointed as Deputy Executive Director while Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco, MD, CESO III was appointed as the new Director IV of the Bureau of Working Conditions
