DOLE-OSHC holds medical mission in Laguna

Calamba Laguna – 87 workers and dependents of Manila Cordage Company and residents of Brgy. Canlubang benefitted from themedical mission held by the DOLE’s Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), Bureau of Working Conditions, Employees Compensation Commission, and Regional Office IV-A last today, August 10, 2016.

OSHC Executive Director Ma. Teresita S. Cucuceco, MD, CESO III, along with a team of physicians, nurses and support staff from the above-mentioned agencies conducted medical consultations and examinations, and distributed medicines, medical
supplies and bottled water to the beneficiaries.
The illnesses diagnosed among the beneficiaries include upper respiratory tract infection, pre-hypertension, hypertension and allergic pulmonary disorders.
The medical mission is part of the OSHC’s corporate social responsibility program.
