DOLE-OSHC opens regional extension unit in Zamboanga
“We have added the OSHC Regional Extension Unit IX in Zamboanga to our growing list of offices. We now have 10 REUs operating which will help bring OSH services closer to our workers in the provinces,” said Occupational Safety and Health Center Executive Director Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco, MD, CESO III.
Ms. Ma. Joy Espinosa, a registered nurse, was hired as an administrative officer to man the OSHC REU IX located at the DOLE Regional Office 9, 3/F, QNS Building, Veterans Avenue Extension, Tumaga, Zamboanga City.
“We will be continuously hiring staff and training them to handle the effective implementation of OSH programs in all regions. This is in line with Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz’s directive to deploy OSHC staff in all regions,” Cucueco added.
