DOLE-OSHC conducts OSH orientation in Zamboanga

Zamboanga City – the Occupational Safety and Health Center conducted two batches of Occupational safety and health orientation for the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority and Mang Tinapay Bakery on August 6 and 26, 2015.
The first batch held at the Zamboanga Fish Port Complex, Sangali, Zamboanga City was attended by officials and staff of the Port Maintenance and Refrigeration Division. The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board IX also gave a lecture on 5S while the ZamPen OSHNet discussed plant safety.

On the other hand, the second batch held in Don Alfaro, Tetuan Road, Zambaonga City was attended by representatives from eight branches of Mang Tinapay Bakery. During the orientation, experts from the DOLE Zamboanga City Field Office and the Regional Extension Unit IX of the Employees’ Compensation Commission gave lectures on work safety and the Employees Compensation Program.
